100 SMALL PEOPLE WITH BIG HEARTS
This illustration was created for the international contest of illustration
“World Illustration Awards 2017”
and
is dedicated for everyone who has a big heart.
— USAGE —
This illustration is an image of my own philosophy of life - that we are responsible of each other, of our ground and sky if we want to have a solid foundation to make steps forward. In this way honesty, sincerity, humanity are the main values in order to survive and to help being for others.
— PROCRESS —
The main aim was to create 100 characters - small people. Everyone is unique, each of them are created by a lead pencil, on paper. Later - scanned, washed using Adobe Photoshop and added small accents of color by the same digital program. Small coloured hearts were drawn using a graphic tablet and pencil.
— MATERIALS —
Materials used for the illustration: a lead pencil, paper, scanner, graphic tablet and pencil, Photoshop.
— FORMATS —
Finally the illustration became a digital file, which dimensions are 500x400 mm, 300 dpi
— BRIEF —
It is my own illustration, dedicated for eveyone who is not insensitive for illustration and story it reveals.
— BRIEF KEY IDEAS —
I love a pure line and to folow its way on paper. For me - to control a line, to listen my mind and to reveal it on paper - was the main aim and a field of an improvement in my way of illustration. Also I am sure, that illustration becomes even viable when its creative process begins with a pencil and paper - a direct touch of a human.
